However, when put in context, this does not make a coherent argument against the installation of dryers. As the flush of a toilet produces far more airborne bacteria than the hand dryer, yet no one is going to suggest banning flushes. As paper towels are usually located in the wash room area, they will also be open to harbouring the same germs.
